KuK militaria - Really scarce and original WWI 1917 Austro-Hungaria KuK (kaiserlich und königlich) army gas mask and box. It is a scarce mask, nearly the same as the german one but with some noticeable differences and marking. It is in perfect condition as you can see, I will say the only bad things are: The straps for the box are replacement (up to you to take it off) and the waiting strap that is around the neck of the soldier while the mask is not used is torn at one end (Can be easily stitched back, again, up to you). As you can see the box is well having the little hook (typical of KuK boxes) to open the replacement lenses which are also present. This hook is not present on german boxes, you can research this it has been extensively covered in the literature. The mask by itself is well mark as well as the filter and are in the best shape I have ever seen. Same you can well see all the differences and the KuK embossed marking on the mask and the filter. As you can also see, the name of the soldier has been written on a strap. A really hard to find item in a perfect condition!
