HELMET- STEEL, M18 "ET66" this is the M18 patern which means that the interrior is the same as on WW2 helmet. The liner is missing and there is only the shell. It is well a german one and not Austrian as we can clearly see the german marking"ET66". The chinstrap is directly attached to the liner and is no more hold by prongs on the helmet. Much more harder to get than the M16 pattern. As hard to get as an "earcut pattern", really few have been produce. We think that this one as been cleaned and repaint considering the light color. That is the only one we know about and just compere it with M16 paint. The paint here looks really light but really great, so... Up to you to decide.
